This is a great footwork drill, which works on acceleration, speed and change of direction.
Like you can see in the Video the lines are marked with numbers (1 to 5). The coach explains the players the order they should do. It is always plus 2 and then minus one, until they reached the other side. So the order would be: START – 2 – 1 – 3 – 2 – 4 – 3 – 5 – 4 – END.
You may tell the players to do it twice in a row, so as soon as they end it the first time they do it the inverted way.
