Nothing much to set up here, all you really need is at least 3 players, but I recommend doing it with 6 to 8 player to play this Around the world game.
Practicing with the coach:
The coach is close at the net with his basket on one of the sides, so he can easily feed the ball to both sides. He starts to feed the ball to one of the sides.
The drill is played as a normal point, the players can hit the ball how ever they like.
The first player hits the ball and then runs to the other end of the court. The next player does the same thing and so on… until one of them makes a mistake or a winner. The one who lost the point (either missed or was the victim of a fantastic winner) is out.
There will be no second chances, even if the player misses the first ball. This continues until there are only 2 players left in this game, then the around the world concept does not work anymore (as you probably already figured out). A final point will be played between the two finalists. The winner of that point will be crowned as the CHAMPION.
- You may give players lives to expand the lifetime of the game. Of course you can just repeat the game with one live if you like.
Practicing with friends:
This is a tricky one. To play with friends you will need a lot of players and one feeder, so a minimum of 4 players. Of course it is possible, but I think this one is more for coaches
